Girls School 1

As a public service, I should point out up front that "Girls School" has everything to do with girls and nothing whatsoever to do with school. Don't expect to see a school building or even a classroom; don't anticipate any titillating teacher-student conferences; and, of course, don't expect a storyline that has anything to do with either. Director Mitchell Spinelli treats us to a glimpse of how such films are made when he asks Krista Leigh what her favorite subject was in school in a pre-scene interview. In Spinelli's world, that's all it takes to justify a title that any viewer - especially one who enjoys the teacher-student scenario - will find grossly misleading. Short, pleated skirts go only so far. Still, if we forgive the man his unethical title, we'll find that he's made a pretty good all-girl sex film to put under it.

It goes like this. Spinelli, behind the camera, first chats with each of the girls, then videotapes them having sex. Brandi Lyons says her favorite thing about school was the girls. When asked about her first scene with a guy, Krista says, "Girls are more my thing," while giving an off-hand two-thumbs up that is all the more compelling for being so spontaneous. What could be cooler than that? Girls who really like girls.

You know, when I hear a girl say something like this in a porn film, I tend to watch her more carefully during her sex scene. I want to know if I can see that Sapphic desire in her performance. Knowing she's into it is itself a turn-on. And despite having to kneel before a standing Nikita Denise, despite having to lie on her side with her free arm thrown awkwardly behind her back, Krista emerges as a lesbo dream, a girl who eats pussy not like a pro but like a girl who loves the taste of it. To judge by her reaction, Nikita wouldn't have it any other way.

Brandi doesn't do quite so well in her scene. She's not yet savvy enough to keep her eyes off the camera and crew, not yet confident enough to be aggressive. Yet this film's sexual pairings seem exactly right, given the talent on hand. Tanya Danielle isn't the only girl in the cast who could have taken Brandi in hand, but she's the only one who wasn't better engaged with someone else. Either Mia Domore or Wendy Divine could have taken her place; that would have deprived us of their scene together, however, and they are so comfortable with each other that that wouldn't have worked out nearly so well. As it is, Tanya is up to the task and keeps a rather slow-paced scene from flagging by using her tongue not so much to eat out Brandi as to create and maintain a rapport with her.

Mia and Wendy are clearly the most compatible couple in the film. What they lack in sexual excitement, they make up in compatibility: talking, smiling, and laughing their way to orgasm. The dialogue isn't distracting, as it might have been, because they're so focused on getting each other off. When Wendy cums, she says, "Yea," and the affirmation is both innocent and charming.

At a mere three scenes in length it behooved the producers to give us viewers something more for our money. In a refreshing twist, they actually do. This disc's special features include two bonus scenes. The scenes are, however, boy-girl (not lesbian) trysts, and neither of the girls is any of the six appearing in the main feature. The first starts out reasonably as a massage, the second more ridiculously as blonde adult video cashier catches young kid jerking off in one of the aisles. In spite of the setup, the second scene is the better of the two. It has a little bit of everything except straight fucking; the blonde takes it in the ass instead. (This may have been a mistake for her since the kid has one of those G-spot cocks that, when erect, assumes the curvature of a banana.) And where the first scene ended with the guy cumming on his girl's ass (never much of a turn-on), the second ends with the kid cumming in the cashier's face and mouth. Neither scene is a standout, but they're enough to leave you feeling like you got your money's worth with this one.

While this video does have a few good moments, it is largely ruined by the chatter of the camera man. At one point he even tells the lovely Tanya Danielle "I can kick your ass." Unless you have a fascination for camera men, plan on using the fast forward a lot while watching this video. Also note that the bonus scenes are boy/girl. Apparently, the video's producers forgot that girls are supposed to be the focus of an "all-girl" video.

There is really nothing special about this video. It has nothing to do with a girls school, like the box cover suggests. It is only 74 minutes long, with just 3 scenes.

While it might be worth while renting this one and fast forwarding through all the uninteresting parts, I do not recommend purchasing this one.
