Shock Therapy

Asia Carrera is sent to the crazy house in Shock Therapy, a title which proves that Michael Raven can make just about any premise a hot one to watch in the world of adult porn. Put in other director's hands, Shock Therapy might turn out to be "Schlock Therapy", as many directors would not know how to distinguish between the comedy of the scenes and the heat of the sexual action. But Raven gets it all right, making the set-ups amusing, but not letting the goofiness seep into the sex between the actors.

In the opening scene, we find out that Asia has uncontrollable sexual fantasies about people, and we get to see what she sees as she imagines the three other patients with her taking on the doctor, played by Ava Vincent. There's a lot of oral action here as Ava sucks each of the guys, and then at the conclusion of the scene, sits on a chair below them while the guys stand on her desk and jerk off until they unload down onto her face.

After a lesbian scene which is the only segment in the film to really generate any heat, things pick up again in a hot three-way with Asia, Evan Stone and Dillion Day. While Evan unloads his cream onto Asia's tits, Dillion gives Asia a nice facial...a rare event, at least in most of the Asia scenes I have seen to date.

As with all hospitals, there are nurses...but I don't think I've ever seen one any hotter in uniform than the way Gina Lynn looks in this movie. She begins to blow Mike Horner (who plays the doctor), but the scene ends abruptly with no further action, and no cumshot. It made me wonder if perhaps something happened on the set that prevented the finishing of the segment.

Gina does get her fair share of action in the movie's conclusion, as she gets into it with Evan and Sydnee Steele, while across the room Mike Horner makes up for any action he may have missed with Gina by plowing into Asia. The Horner/Carrera combo is only so-so, but the three-way with Evan, Gina and Sydnee is one worth watching. The best part of this threesome is watching Sydnee jerk Evan off right onto the waiting lips of Ms. Lynn...it's extremely hot stuff!

The audio is top-notch on this disc, but the video is only average, and grain is noticeable on the print. The bonuses on this disc include trailers and a photo gallery.

Unlike other Raven movies, this one is fairly light in tone and doesn't have much of a story to it. However, there is enough entertaining sex to recommend this film...not only for viewing, but for purchase.
