Nikki The Nymph

Following the success of their KELLY THE COED series, starring youthful Allysin Chaynes, Heatwave Video and director Jim Powers blaze a familiar trail with NIKKI THE NYMPH, another college-themed fuck-a-thon. I must admit, watching NIKKI brought back some of my most cherished college memories...of sitting alone in my room spanking it to porn videos. Anyway, NIKKI Features newcomer (or is that "newcummer"? Heh, heh, heh) Velvet Rose in the title role as a slutty college freshman and follows many of the same plot conventions established in the KELLY series (i.e. relatively young and fresh-faced female talent doing lots of sucking and fucking with , horny frat boys).

While NIKKI does boast some extra nasty, uninhibited action, I was a little bit underwhelmed by the looks of the female talent and the rather pedestrian situational scene developments. Nevertheless, if you generally like watching young, slutty fuckdolls being violated by "college boys," then NIKKI is worthy of carrying KELLY THE COED's torch. Despite appearing to be Caucasian on the box cover, Velvet is clearly of some sort of indeterminate ethnic persuasion (possibly Hispanic) and has more metal in her body than The Six-Million Dollar Man. Velvet has piercings in her clit, tongue, bellybutton and both nipples. However, her pleasing, curvy figure more than makes up for the distracting scrap metal hanging off her body.

After watching "Nikki" roam around a college campus in a short skirt, thigh-high stockings and platform shoes, and listening to her sleepy-voiced internal dialogue, she meets up with Cameron Caine and Sapphire Rae. Cameron (possibly trying to capitalize on her very vague resemblance to Cameron Diaz), has a very nice, natural figure and a decent face (despite some unfortunate acne on her forehead). Saphire is a thin, pale brunette with a gaping rectum.

The girls convince "Nikki" to come back to the frat house where the girls and their male companion proceed to get good and . "Nikki" excuses herself to on the couch in another room while Cameron and Sapphire exchange some brief kissing and fondling before joining in some team shaft licking of their lucky frat boy host. Some decent 3-way action ensues with both ladies getting a nice pounding in various positions and Sapphire receiving some prolonged ass-fucking up her narrow behind (with some intermittent pull-out for Sapphire to taste herself on her partner's shlong as Cameron holds her mouth open from the edges - don't ask me why but the sight of a girl's mouth being pulled back to look like The Joker from Batman is always a erection killer). The scene wraps up with the girls getting a dual facial and engaging in some nice jizz-swapping kissing.

Meanwhile, one of "Nikki's" professors finds her in the frat house (why a professor is wandering around a frat house is beyond me) and chastises her for her reckless behavior. Of course, what is any self-respecting college coed to do but give her professor a nice suck and fuck to regain his respect? The two trade off some nice oral action and Velvet gets a vigorous pounding in the usual positions before also taking a faceful of man goo which she rubs all over like Nivea skin care lotion. Again, Velvet has a nice figure but her multiple piercings are a distraction (unless you are into that sort of thing).

The frat house sets the stage for another sexual encounter as Juliana Kincaid, a very thin, flat-chested, but decent-looking blonde, is the guest of honor at a drinking game. Surrounded by a bunch of horny, shouting college dudes, Juliana finally opts to suck some cock rather than continue drinking. After she starts blowing two of the guys, the rest of them take a hike so Juliana can get fucked, anally penetrated and DP'd before also taking a duel consignment of college nutjuice on her smiling face.

At some point, though, the frat dude inexplicably disappears leaving the coach to pleasure both ladies with his sausage, hands and mouth before giving them a joint mouthful of cum on their studded tongues.

Yet again, a frat house party is the setting for the final scene, featuring Ashley Blue, a petite, natural-figured, brunette with a so-so face but a fun, wild attitude. (For some reason, every frat party scene contains loads of young, rowdy Asian guys. However, these poor bastards are relegated to merely standing by and shouting and never get to partake of the fun). Ashley instantly throws herself onto the couch begging for cock. Two partygoers are eager to oblige as she deepthroats one and gets licked and fingered by the other while the crowd cheers. Ashley also enjoys getting manhandled about her throat and having a hand thrust down her gaping gullet. She subsequently deepthroats both guys so fast and furiously that she has to briefly pause and heave some backed up and saliva on the floor. It ain't pretty but it is something I have never seen before. Not letting a little nausea stand in her way, Ashley finishes blowing the dudes and moves to the couch where they literally fuck her from both ends (a cock is shoved in her mouth with such forcefulness that it is more like fucking than a blowjob). Ashley gets some prolonged ass-fucking from both guys and her dirty sex-talk is frequently interrupted by another cock or hand shoving its way into her mouth. Ironically, Velvet Rose is the least interesting female star of the film. I was turned off by her piercings, her sex scenes are fairly routine, she doesn't have that young, fresh-faced, "barely-18" college freshman quality which Allysin Chaynes brought to the KELLY series, and she doesn't indulge in any of the true nastiness of her female co-stars. Unless Velvet Rose ratchets up her nastiness level, I question the ability of building a successful series around her.

Moreover, while I found the girls of NIKKI THE NYMPH to be no more than mediocre in appearance, what they lack in looks they make up for in sexual energy. There is no shortage of facials, ass-ramming and DP action and the ladies do it all with gusto. Although I got bored with the repetitive frat house motif for every scene, the camerawork, lighting and sound are all acceptable and the sex scenes do not scrimp on time or action. Minimal extras include chapter stops and a photo-gallery.

Although I would still recommend the KELLY THE COED series for fans of college-themed sex fun over NIKKI THE NYMPH, NIKKI is a decent entry but would likely benefit from better looking girls and more creative situations and direction.

Heatwave's "Nikki the Nymph" stars Velvet Rose, Saphire Rae, Cameron Caine, Juliana Kincaid, Kaloni, Ashley Blue, and a whole bunch of guys I couldn't pick out of a line-up with a scorecard. But then, the guys aren't very important here, despite their numbers. In large measure, they're there only to allow the girls to demonstrate their particular talents. That's the way this film comes off, anyway, even if only one of the girls really has a special talent. That girl is Ashley Blue, and I'll get to her later.

Velvet Rose is the slutty star of this picture, and I mean that as a compliment. She plays a slut and she looks like one too, in a movie star kind of way: she's pretty, sexy, and energetic, with ruby lips and a cock-teasing wardrobe. To look at her on the box cover is to miss this terrific slut-appeal entirely; she looks much more exciting in the movie.

Velvet plays a young girl who can't believe she's finally made it to college. She quickly falls in with the frat crowd, but keeps her distance. A philosophical tramp, Velvet knows that the sorts of girls who get involved in frat parties are condemning themselves to ever-escalating feats of sexual extremity. Then, too, she's too good-looking to need the attention. Her goals are more significant, if not especially loftier. She uses her body in one scene to get out of trouble at school and in another to get the guy she's had her eye on since arriving at the college.

Velvet's two scenes are the best in the film, because of Velvet. One is a couple-scene, the other a four-way. In both she looks great, particularly so when the first guy has her spread open on the sofa so he can eat her pussy. If she has a flaw it is in the fact that all her contact points are metal: both nipples, her tongue, and her clit are pierced. Still, she's a gem. During the four-way, she kisses the shorter, darker Kaloni with such passion that I was surprised she didn't take advantage of the opportunity to engage in a bit more girl/girl action. After the girls receive facials at the end of the scene, however, she does kiss her a bit more.

The four-way scene is odd in one respect: it becomes a three-way two-thirds of the way through. One of the guys, the one who showed up with Kaloni, just disappears. He's there one minute, gone the next. I found that difficult to believe. I suppose he came prematurely and director Jim Powers decided to keep on shooting without him. In any case, though a temporary distraction, it doesn't harm the scene. Personally, I could have done without him from the beginning: two-girl/one-guy threesomes are a favorite combination of mine.

Continuity isn't one of Powers' strong points as a director. In the first scene, which develops as the kind of threeway I just mentioned (after Velvet, , stumbles off to the basement to it off), features Saphire Rae and Cameron Caine with one of the frat boys. Early on, the guy takes off Saphire's shirt; later, Cameron takes it off again. Amateurish, yes. But who cares, if the sex is good? Regrettably, it isn't. I figure somewhere along the line someone said Cameron looked like Cameron Diaz, but the truth is this short-haired blonde falls far short of that mark. Saphire has a girl-next-door cuteness that lasts until we see just how big her asshole is, at which point she morphs into the girl across the tracks. The girl/girl interaction is minimal and uninspiring, but worse still is the anal sequence, during which, for some ungodly reason, Cameron gets behind Saphire to stretch her mouth into a gaping maw for a few ass-to-mouth cock thrusts. The inexplicable weirdness here killed this scene for me.

Now I'm ready to talk about Ashley Blue, the poster girl for Velvet's theories about party chicks. Ashley, by the time we see her in action, has reached an extreme none of the other girls comes close to. Fans of gagging take note: Ashley doesn't give blowjobs so much as allow guys to fuck her face. Deep throat with her is as deep as it gets. In fact, fairly early on, as she alternates between two guys, she does, in fact, gag, and has to throw up. After that, she's really good to go and this long scene contains a great deal of gagging action, with anal and DP thrown in for good measure. Of course, she swallows, too. None of this would have held my interest for so long if it weren't for the fact that Ashley herself is quite cute and loaded with personality.

"Nikki" isn't the kind of film I'd normally recommend, but Velvet and Ashley give it a spark most other films with amateur male performers don't have. They keep the pricks in line, so to speak. Even this disc's photo gallery is good (and you won't hear me say that very often). This one, however, consists not of stills from the film primarily, but of new shots of the girls. It's the only bonus feature "Nikki" has, but at least it's one worth looking at.
