Dirty Girlz

Jewel DeNyle is the director and co-star of her self-titled DIRTY GIRLZ, a lesbian flick from Platinum X Pictures. While I generally enjoyed watching this DVD, there really isn't anything here that's been done before (And done better, I might add) a hundred times over in over a hundred different girl-girl videos. The performers are definitely attractive - covergirl Brandy is a true standout - but eye-candy is certainly not at the level of a WHERE THE BOYS AREN'T title, or any recent Studio-A release. Nevertheless, it's definitely good to see more women expressing their sensuality behind the camera, and hopefully, future editions of DIRTY GIRLS will exceed this average outing.

Five scenes are delivered here, with straightforward match-ups as follows: Mary Carey and Brandy; Jewel and Loni; Lucy Lee and Red Heaven; Ashley Moore (misspelled as "More" in the chapter menu) and Ramona Luv; and finally, Jewel with Kalani (also misspelled) and Nautica. Like most titles, introductions are kept to a minimum, and unfortunately, so is the foreplay. A few minutes of explicit tongue kissing would have really added to the proceedings. Instead, the performers jump into action as if they were afraid of boring the viewer with seduction and tease.

In my opinion, Brandy is far more visually appealing than her partner in the first segment (Miss Carey looks like nothing more than your standard blonde bimbo), though there is little to fault when they are paired together for some lusty action. The double-ended dildo fucking has become such an expected cliché in girl-girl scenes that there is nothing new to see here. The girls make out briefly, but not enough to convince me of any true passion.

Jewel DeNyle - looking rather thick and curvaceous - and Loni are up next and give us some genuine affection in their scene. Unlike some of the other vignettes, they simply let loose and enjoy themselves without looking too contrived during their conduct. Some slight slapping, spitting and domination accompany the strap-on fucking and ass play. The sex isn't quite up to DECADENT DIVAS standard, but I usually prefer my girl-girl scenes to be soft and gentle in any event.

Lucy and Red do a bit more making out at the beginning and end of their segment, but despite some well-captured sixty-nining, I wasn't particularly attracted to either girl. Both work on each other like they were on autopilot and any expressed emotion is dull and labored. On the other hand, Ashley and Ramona seem to enjoy each other's company a lot, and their outdoor affair is highlighted by some large purple beads up Ashley's ass, which she sticks into her mouth hungrily. Miss Moore also comes pretty close to fisting herself while in a pile-driving position, and the general nastiness of their pairing is what makes this flick shine.

Finally, director Jewel shows again up to give Kalani and Nautica a good time. Kalani sits out for most of the time, preferring to use a dildo on herself instead of letting the girls help out. For my tastes, there is simply too much going on with dildos and toys. More caressing, kissing, and stroking would have gone a long way to making this threesome more carnally engaging. It definitely takes a back seat to the Ashley/Ramona lovefest

Audio quality is generally good, though the video could be a little less glaring (particularly during the outdoor scenes). Extras include a Behind The Scenes featurette, footage of a photo shoot, a Photo Gallery and some trailers. An added scene or two could have made-up for the hardcore and bonus feature deficiencies.

Overall, DIRTY GIRLZ is dirty fun, but not much more.
