Fantasy Ltd.

A young couple decides to have sexual memories implanted in their brains in Fantasy Ltd., a title that is bound to remind viewers of Total Recall, although this film never explores the reality vs. fantasy element to its full potential.

Petra and Nikko Night play the couple, and the movie opens with both in bed complaining about how boring their sex lives have become. Nikko suggests they head off to "Fantasy, Ltd.", a company he read about on the Net that implants memories. Petra reluctantly agrees, although she isn't sure that it's worth the money.

The next day, the two arrive at the offices of "Fantasy, Ltd." and are greeted by Katie Morgan. She begins by implanting one memory each into Petra and Nikko, and the viewer then gets to see what the fantasy is. Petra's involves her making out with Rafe, whom she dances with before the fun begins; while Nikko's fantasy has him as the referee in a mud-wrestling match between Malitia and Lezley Zen.

The sex in Fantasy Ltd. is shot in a style that will either appeal to viewers or totally turn them off. Simply put, if you enjoy stylized sex in the tradition of Michael Ninn and Andrew Blake, you're going to like Fantasy Ltd. However, if you're more of a "raincoater" type who just wants to see the sex without any MTV-style shooting, then you're not going to like this film. Most of the natural sounds of the sexual action is replaced by music - so those who enjoy hearing the "moans and groans" of the action should also steer clear of this film.

After having one memory implanted in their head, both Petra and Nikko want more. Next up for Petra is a lesbian fantasy where she makes out with Becca Brat in a bathtub; while Nikko imagines creating two sexual robots (played by Faith Adams and Ann Marie) for his sexual pleasure.

Towards the end of the movie, fantasy and reality start to intertwine, as the couple have sex in the offices of "Fantasy, Ltd.", with Petra teaming up with Lee Stone on one side of the room and Nikko pairing with Katie Morgan on the other side. After the action is finished, Petra and Nikko find themselves awake back in their bedroom with no memory of returning home. After making out, they suddenly are back in the offices of "Fantasy, Ltd.", and just at the point where they start to question what is going on...the movie abruptly ends. Not a satisfying conclusion, but typical of a James Avalon movie.

While the video and audio of this DVD are above average, the bonus features are surprisingly lacking. Although the back of the box cover says that the film has a behind the scenes segment, there is none to be found on the disc. Also, the Becca Brat interview on the title is nothing more than a 21-second clip where she comments that her parents have no idea what she does for a living. Not only is this so-called "interview" embarrassingly short, but I've seen the same clip on the Good Girl Bad Girl DVD!

Overall, if you're a fan of James Avalon or perhaps a couple trying out adult film for the first time, Fantasy Ltd. should have enough for an evening of entertaining viewing. But more hardcore fans should be warned...the sex here is pretty "vanilla" and will probably leave you fairly limp!
