Bi's Wide Shut

From director Karen Dior comes Bi's Wide Shut-?a play on the title of Kubrick's last film that otherwise shares no relation. The three sex scenes (one hot, two not) are tied together by short conversations about sex between female stars Lisa Lixx and Angela D'Angelo.

We begin as Lisa tells Angela that she feels she's missing something in her sex life?-that it's becoming monotonous. Angela regales her of an experience she had with two guys, the "Holy Grail of sex," according to her, and we're whisked away to flashback of that scene. In it, we see Angela (wearing a strap-on) commanding two guys, Shawn and Michael (played by Bobby Tyler and Marshall O'Boy-?although there's no distinction as to which is which during the scene) to perform various acts on each other: blowjobs, 69's, fingering. Angela calls the shots here as the guys remain silent for the most part, following her commands. This scene could've used more variety. It's basically Angela fucking Bobby or getting her strap-on sucked by Bobby while Marshall either gets sucked by or fucks Bobby. Perhaps 'All About Bobby' would be a good subtitle for this scene, since he's the one getting all the action--but he still looks bored. There's no kissing, breast play or groping. At one point Marshall suggests Angela come over and get behind him while he's fucking Bobby. But she never does-?a real shame. Once the two guys spew a pool of cum on Bobby's stomach, the dream is over and it's back to Lisa and Angela talking. The groundwork is soon laid for the next (considerably hotter) scene.

Lisa has convinced her two hot next door neighbors Gino Guiltier and Sean Diamond into a three-way. The guys explain they've never done anything like this before and quickly get to work on Lisa's tits and pussy. Sean then gives us a hot show by fucking Lisa's mouth while rubbing her tits. Gino, who was tongue-lashing her pussy, switches places with his bud to get some head from Lisa. Gino then gets his first taste of Sean's cock, eating it up while Lisa sucks his nipples. Soon both Lisa and Sean are licking and biting at Gino's nipples while he moans in pleasure. A particularly hot sequence occurs when Gino fucks Sean while he's fucking Lisa doggy style. And unlike the last scene where only Angela talks, all three get into the act. By the end they're encouraging each other and intently watching the action going on and getting totally turned on by it. The two end up jerking off, blowing their loads on Lisa's stomach. Now that's hot.

Still excited by the thought of having two men service her every need and their own, Lisa calls Angela looking for two more willing three-way participants. Dirk Adams and Aaron Leung fit the bill and start immediately pressing Lisa's buttons. After the calibre of the sex in the last scene, this one's a letdown. The camerawork's pretty sterile, and the sex never does get worked up into a lather, lingering on moaning faces or far away group shots for too long (and once just on feet for 10 or 15 seconds).

No complaints about the video quality, although tighter editing would've helped the flow immensely. The audio could've used some work, too?-dialogue is occasionally drowned out by background noise. Bi's Wide Shut has the same round-up of special features that are in at least two other Karen Dior DVDs?-Bi- and Bi-Models-?a chapter select, a screen listing Legend Direct's web site URL, a video photo gallery, biographies of the stars, and a six-minute Behind the Scenes video. Looks like someone was going down the list of effects in a video editing program in the Behind the Scenes, which is mostly a collection of flubs, outtakes, and rehearsals. There are a few funny cutaways, including one where the word "Sale!" flashes on the screen a few times for no apparent reason, a fairy that waves her wand, and a spaceship that shoots lasers into another scene.

From the beginning, this wasn't able to get me hot n' bothered, and the men are score far better on the "hot" scale than the women. The middle scene's the best of the bunch, but my train didn't leave the station during the two that surrounded it.
