Jack's Playground 24

After a less-than-exciting Jack's Playground 23, I'm happy to report that Jack's Playground 24 is more in the style of those earlier Jack's titles fans have loved - although it's still limited to five girls/scenes (no solo scenes again) and the "pop-up" jokes that seemed to inhabit so many of the sex scenes in those earlier volumes seems to have been all-but-abandoned in these recent releases.

But where Jack's still scores is in his (actually director Robby D.'s) selection of talent to put in front of the camera. The real winner here is cute Sarah Blake, who shows up in the third of five scenes. But there are no real "losers" in the bunch, which also includes the popular Jennifer Luv, brunette Reina Leone, Sabina and dark-skinned Latina Jazmin.

Jack's 24 opens with the familiar "Jack Recap" in which Montel (who is really getting screwed on screen-time, Jack!) reminds us what happened in Vol. 23 and tells us how sick and tired he is of giving these recaps! The first sex scene takes place in "Jack's Shack" as Reina Leone shows up with pal Celeste, who doesn't stick around to see Eric "Cockblocker" Masterson have his way with her. The nicest part of Reina's scene - during which she wears white knee-high socks and gets it reverse cowgirl, missionary and cowgirl style - is the pop-shot, most of which lands in Reina's mouth, and which she swallows down.

After a funny bit in which Evan Stone sports some very tight orange briefs (I have a feeling the ladies will enjoy this a bit more than the guys!), we get a coupling between Sabina and Tommy Gunn which is heavy on the anal action. This scene is also noteworthy in the Jack's series in that it contains an internal anal pop-shot at the conclusion...which I believe just may be a Jack's first.

As noted above, the best scene in Jack's Playground 24 features Sarah Blake - basically because she's the best looking gal on this DVD. Her scene begins as she is playing "Clue" with Eric and Celeste over at Celeste's place, and soon she and Eric are making out on the couch.

Jennifer Luv is up next, teaming with Evan Stone for a pairing that includes some tit-fucking, missionary, "pile driver," doggy, and some reverse cowgirl. The final scene in Jack's 24 takes place in a hotel room between 19-year-old Jazmin and Lee Stone. It's probably the weakest of the bunch, primarily due to the fact that Jazmin keeps her mouth clamped shut when Lee climaxes onto her face.

The movie wraps up with an Island Fever 3 parody entitled "Island Thickness 3, as well as more comments from Montel and a preview of the girls we'll get to see on Jack's Playground 25 (which surprisingly just looks like an average volume...even though one would have thought Robby D. would do something special for the silver anniversary of the series).

Extras are once again slim - with only a photo gallery and some trailers - although the A/V quality is once again top-notch, offering viewers an anamorphic widescreen picture and 5.1 Dolby sound.

Those who felt a bit let down by Jack's 23 should enjoy Jack's 24 a lot better, although when compared to the two dozen releases so far, it still falls somewhere in the middle for both sexual quality and laughs.
