Best of Strippers Inc., The

What could one expect when they see the stars listed on the box-cover? With names like Nikki Sinn, Jill Kelly, Serenity, Toni Tedeschi and Steven St. Croix, one would expect that this would be one super movie. Great locales, awesome bodies and great sex, right? Well, we are sorry to say, this is one movie with great names, which is a bit off the mark from what you would have expected.

The Best of Strippers, Inc. is just that, a best-of movie. In the compilation of several other movies, Ona Zee takes this 1996 film and transfers it over to DVD. For Ona Zee fans there is another disappointment, aside from some dirty talk and extremely light foreplay in one scene, this is one beauty you do not get the chance to enjoy in action. If Ona were to partake in just one of the scenes, the movie would have received a much better rating.

In most compilation films, there usually is on small tie that binds the scenes together. Vivid Girls, Best of Girls on Girls, All Natural etc. Best of Strippers, Inc. tries to have us believe that all of the girls in this movie are supposed to be or are trying to be strippers. That might help make sense in some of the scenes, but unfortunately, there are some transition acts that are clearly from other movies. One suggestion would have been to just cut and paste the shots together with very little filler between them.

In the two scenes where Ona appears, you actually see some of the best action in the film. The first is a solo act with Winter Lane, a tall, milky skin redhead who steams up the camera with a little bit of Ona's help and some of Doc Johnson's best aides. The second scene with Ona is where she is "watching" Serenity and Jill Kelly in a jail cell. While Ona does not get involved at all, the girl on girl scene is quite hot. Serenity does a great job handling Jill. It is obvious that this session is quite vintage since Jill did not have her implants at this time. It's a great scene for Jill Kelly fans like us, who always enjoy seeing our favorites at all levels of their career. It was quite clear that Jill was on her way to the top, and look at her now!

There was nothing of interest in the bonus features of this DVD, which usually incorporates some interesting additions to the main feature. This production only included a contact address, photo gallery and slide show. From a film point of view, the video was plus and minus between scenes. Some were great transfers to DVD and others were not. That same lack of quality transferred to the audio. While some acts were crystal clear, others had their share of snap, crackle and pops.

Overall, this movie really failed to get us excited. Basically, we were quite disappointed given the first-rate cast. While there might have been an excellent boxcover shot and an all-star cast, read between the lines. Check on the back, if you can, and take a good look at the scenes to make sure they are what you would enjoy. Especially in a compilation feature, be careful since your favorite guy or girl might only be in one scene. Lastly, check on the production date of the movie, not the date it was released on DVD.
