Clockwork Orgy

Being a big fan of Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange, I figured this Nic Cramer film would be worth a look. Loosely following the framework of Kubrick's cult masterpiece, A Clockwork Orgy meticulously replicates certain elements of the original while adding its own twists and subtle humor. Cramer creates a great (albeit simple) premise by substituting "ultra-violence" with "ultra-sex" and allowing the Kubrick version to "inspire" the rest of the film. The result is a well made movie with a great cast and a silly but entertaining story.

Similar to the original, Cramer's film centers around Alex (Katilyn Ashley) and her sexually wanton gang of "droogs" who randomly terrorize men with a little of the old "ultra-sex." Consisting of Katilyn, Rebecca Lord, Isis Nile, and Olivia, this is a gang of girls I wouldn't mind running into in a dark alley. What premise could be better than a hot gang of girls going around sucking and fucking guys at random? For instance, their first victim is a poor wino (Dick Nasty) looking for a hand out. Instead of giving him a quarter, the four girls berate him and watch as Rebecca goes down on him. There's something about women taking charge that makes these scenes so hot. In another scene, Alex confronts her parole officer (Shelby Stevens) and the two allow their mutual dislike for one another to surface in a pretty rough girl/girl scene. At one point Shelby has a sizeable part of her hand up Katilyn's pussy while slapping her ass and pulling her hair. Later, Katilyn returns the favor by shoving a dildo up Shelby's ass. I'm not a big fan of lesbian scenes, but this one was just too hot to ignore.

Speaking of hot, this film features Nicole Lace, one of my favorite performers of all time. She has a relatively small role in this film, but it's enough to get anyone's attention. She plays the prison warden's assistant. The warden is played by Jon Morgan and as you might have guessed, the two have their opportunity to experiment with a little of the old "ultra-sex." In an interesting move, Cramer keeps Jonathan almost completely clothed during the whole scene, with the exception of his cock and balls hanging out of his fly. Is this done to reinforce his authoritarian role? Whatever the reasoning, it makes Nicole's gorgeous body the sole focus of this hot little scene. Nicole starts off by gently sucking Jon's cock until he's hard enough for some vaginal penetration. After some decent pounding on top of a black car, the two move to a doggy style position where Nicole eventually has the chance to show off her ability to gobble down cock with her asshole. Nobody looks better taking it in the ass than Nicole Lace! When Jon's ready to pop, he squats over her face and lets loose a sizable load on Nicole's pretty face. Jon may be finished, but Nicole isn't; she smoothes her hands all over her face and rubs the globs of cum into her skin as if it were moisturizer or soap. Obviously, I'm biased when reviewing any Nicole Lace scene, but that didn't keep me from noticing the annoying music that plays over the entire segment. What was a great scene could have been perfect if the sound mixer simply got a bit more conservative with the music.

Overall, A Clockwork Orgy is a good, but not great, movie presented on a decent DVD. Unlike many modern adult films, there's a fair amount of dialogue which requires the performers to do much more than look good while fucking. Katilyn Ashley does a pretty good job in the leading role, but her voiceovers sound a bit uninspired. Jonathan Morgan surprised me with his deadpan performance as a English prison warden. Listen carefully to his speech toward the end of the film when he makes a subtle dig at Vivid movies. I wonder if this was his idea of Cramer's? In the technical department, it looks as though the transfer was taken from a film print, and looks pretty good for the most part. There are a few jumps and some pixelation, but nothing very noticeable. The sound is quite crisp in its Dolby 2.0 format, but the mixing leaves a lot to be desired; the music is very loud at times, while the dialogue is low. As a result, I found myself adjusting the volume several times. There's only a few notable extras including a photo gallery and 4 trailers from other Pleasure Production DVDs.

A Clockwork Orgy isn't for everyone. If you're totally unfamiliar with Kubrick's film, then most of the movie (other than the sex) will make little sense. Like any parody, the script relies heavily on the viewers familiarity with the original material to fill gaps in the narrative. Fans of the original will be the most likely to enjoy it, as long as they don't get too critical. Come on guys, it's a porno! Narrative aside, the sex is hot with a focus on lightly dominant feminine roles. If you like to see hot women take charge, then this is a film for you!

Commentary:
An interesting plot line that takes some of what the original film had
intimated, but turns it into sex, not violence, and uses that to show how a world insistent
on conforming to a higher authority would present itself. If you've never seen "Clockwork
Orange", definitely see it. It's not for the squeamish, but it is certainly a powerful, if not
bizarre tale.

To sum up this plot, it's about a futuristic team of "gangsters" who habitually break the
no sex rule, and wander the street looking for prey, all the time chattering away in a
cockney type accent, and some interesting slang. The team, including Isis Nile, Olivia,
Rebecca Lord, and headed by Kaitlyn Ashley are relentless in their quest for sex.They'll
screw a bum in the street (Duck Nasty), or a wheelchair ridden chap (Dough), or even
Kaitlyn's parole officer (Stevens). (It seems our ringleader has been in trouble before.)

Eventually, thinking with her puss lands Kaitlyn in the loony bin, where she is
deprogrammed, and made to wretch with even the viewing of a sexual act. Once released,
after an erotic display of her "reform", she's confused and disgusted by a group of bums,
including Nasty that look to take their revenge. No arm twisting here, as she quickly falls
back into her life of "crime", getting screwed by Nasty's two buddies.

There was plenty of sex in this one, and the women are truly stunningly sexy. A big
disappointment was the first scene where Rebecca Lord uses her ample dick sucking talents
to bring Nasty to full attention just before they screw. She pulls and sucks that dick with an
awesome amount of ! So where's the disappointment? No money shot. Not even a hint
of a cream pie. It just ends. :-(

Let me not dwell on that single negative though, let's talk about a few very hot scenes.
If you're not all that familiar with Kaitlyn Ashley, hear it from my lips first. Take that remote
control in your hands, hit pause, and take a nice long look at her clit and lips. You will now
be a huge Ashley fan! She has an awesome body, with full (fake) tits, great nipples, and a
slit to die for. I mean those lips are so freaking full, you can imagine chewing on them for
hours! She has an excellent G-G scene with Shelby Stevens that includes some great close
in camera work, (As seems to be Pleasure's trademark), as well as some anal and vag

The bizarre break-in scene where the girls attack a wheelchair ridden Jon Dough is also a
fine piece of work, thanks in large part to Olivia and the nasty talk of Isis. Olivia is an expert

Tremendous bodies on these two, and a great money shot that coats Olivia nicely.

Then there's the Kyle Stone and Isis scene in the bar which is really quite erotic, but
slightly hindered by cut scenes to Morgan and imprisoned Ashley. Isis gives great head, and
watching her get screwed reverse straddle was artful to say the least. I was duly impressed
with her sexy center as well.

Morgan and Nicole Lace also have an interesting scene that ends with some ball sucking
as Jonathan jerks off, and the final big orgy scene is a mind spinning set of sex scenes
thrashed together in an abandoned junk yard. Great action, if you can catch it. It was a bit
whirlwind.

Quite good sex in this one, and I really enjoyed the plot line. The actors all do a very
nice job in their dialog, which is doubly impressive. From a plot line, this was a winner. From
a sex point of view, high marks. So is this a ruler? Nope. Read on, and "Biddee-well fine
reader".

From a DVD perspective:
The transfer to DVD was not the smoothest one you'll ever see.
Many scenes are filmed in the dusk, or dark, and the transfer really wreaked havoc on the
detail you see in these scenes. It was almost to the point at times where I thought I was
watching just a black screen, then I'd see some slight movement. It really hurts the disc.

The sound was done well, and the music used was appropriately done. Great dialog, easy
to hear at all times.

The extras were what we have seen in the past from Pleasure. A few nice little treats,
but nothing that stands out and asks you to check it out.

Intangibles:
Beautiful and sexy women in a sex crazed role, in a sex starved society. The
plot is there, the performers are there, and much of the action is there as well. A very well
done effort, but beware the dark...(scenes)

This is the best porn parody I've ever seen! For the most part, it is a very faithful, raunchy (or should I say raunchier?) adaption of the Stanley Kubrick classic. The women are hot, the scenes are the perfect length and the music is pretty enticing as well. I like to get a little high and throw this bad boy on every so often; I always have a great time!

Even before I first watched this movie, I knew I was prejudiced to like it. Not only is Kaitlyn Ashley my all time favorite sexual performer, (Yes, still.) but the Stanley Kubrick film from which this gets its inspiration, is one of my all time favorite films. (And certainly one of the very best movies ever made.) Of course, in porn, snagging a catching title, doesn't mean the porn version will pay any kind of tribute to the original. (Remember Pulp Friction.) However, from the moment Nic Cramer opens this film, it is clear he had more in mind than just stealing a title and using some catchy boxcover art. (The poster for this film, so graciously given to me my Kaitlyn is the coolest looking porn poster I have ever seen.) He has adopted (sometimes lifted) the dialog and style as well as set his film perfectly. Known to spend a lot of money on projects like this, Cramer must be commended by film fans everywhere for putting in the necessary effort to make the X version of Clockwork as special an experience as its mainstream sister.

As I said, the opening shot sets the stage, matching Kubrick's ominous dolly from an extreme close-up of the protagonist's eyes to a wide shot of the ultra-modern milk-bar where Alex sits with her Droogs. For those of you not familiar with Clockwork Orange, (As Kaitlyn says she was not when she first read the script for this film.) fear not, you will pick up on the slang. (And in this one, even if you don't, no worries, the sex will keep you busy.) After juicing up, Alex takes her crew out for a little trouble. They come across a slob, (Dick Nasty) and attack him. While the original has a shockingly violent scene of ultra violence, Cramer's version has Rebecca Lord sucking his cock. Kaitlyn, Isis Nile and Olivia stand by mocking him as the French beauty uses her thick lips to get him hard and ready. Somehow fucking a hottie against a car seems like a better option than having the shit kicked out of you in a gutter, but who am I to say? Straight forward sex here, with Dick fucking Rebecca against the car, plenty hot stuff, but we don't see the cumshot.

Back home, Alex gets a visit from her parole officer, Shelby Stevens. Concerned that her young charge may be up to no good, and obviously noticing that Kaitlyn looks fucking incredible in her bra and panties, she tumbles into bed with sexy young Alex. I know it's a g/g scene, but Kaitlyn just attacks Shelby, aggressively grinding against the other blonde and using that legendary tongue to lick deep into her dripping hole. From the looks of things, even if the PO fails, it seems Alex is already prepared for a life behind bars, at least sexually. Not happy with just licking her tormentor, Alex breaks out a vibrator and fucks her ass with it. Nice, close ups as Kaitlyn plus the ass as Shelby vibes her clit. Rough finger fucking and Kaitlyn's out of this world body make this a scene even non-veggie fans will like.

Later that night, the four Droogs break in on poor Jon Dough and have themselves a party at his expense. Again, this is Cramer, giving a fun, sexual twist to a horrific scene in Kubrick's film. Instead of being beaten and having to watch his wife , Dough gets shoved down and '' to fuck Isis and Olivia. Ms. Nile takes charge, berating poor Jon as they take turns sitting on his face. The sex scene is a bit too quickly paced for me, with not nearly enough time devoted to watching Olivia work her thick lips on his shaft, but what we get is some very hot cowgirl with running commentary by Isis. Dough eventually loosens up and slam fucks Olivia from behind, helping the busty blonde to one of the best scenes she has ever done. Nice cumshot with Isis standing behind Dough and jerking him off into Olivia's face. He has to finish himself, but it's still great to see Olivia wearing the protein mask.

Alex ends up in jail over this little raid and Kaitlyn gets another great dialog scene as she begs for leniency from her captors. Her excuses exhausted, Alex is brought to prison where she is to strip in front of Jonathan Morgan and guard Nicole Lace. While she languishes in prison, Isis is having a ball on the outside. She finds Kyle Stone to her liking and crawls right up to him in the milk bar, looking for a creamy beverage of her own. Once again Isis shows some great filthy talking ability (An attitude which undoubtedly has her on the Patrick Riley hit list.) Isis is pretty, but what's up with her hair? It looks like someone cut it with those round ended scissors they gave us back in the second grade. (You know, the ones with that came with red handles for lefties.) This time, Cramer doesn't rush through the oral, letting Isis suck for a long time and even tit fuck for a bit. Of course, he also breaks the scene up with some non-sex plot action. Alex now sits in the center of a spotlight with Morgan circling around her, announcing that the prisoner must be de-sexed. Morgan seems to relish these Big Brother run amok roles and shows once again that he is at the top of the porn class when it comes to handling dialog. Meanwhile, back the bar, Isis sits in Kyle's lap, facing the camera and starts fucking him for all she's worth. Nicely shot sex here, with a good mix of long shots and tight ones, focusing on her totally shaved pussy. This is the kind of hard fucking that is often missing in feature films, so it's nice to see it here in the middle of a well shot, plot driven porn. The scene ends with Kyle firing a well aimed shot of liquid lust right into Isis' face.

Behind bars, Alex is strapped down and to watch tons and tons of porn. The idea, helped by some , is to make her sick at the site of smut and ill at the thought of sex. (Are they making her watch Mila scenes? Those make me yack without any special chemical combos.) Morgan and his guard Ms. Lace have made a special scene for the occasion and we get to watch it with Alex. Nicole was a very underused brunette with a good body and one hell of a mouth. (She is now Mrs. Patrick Collins by the way.) Jonathan uses a car to brace her body as he fucks her against and on top of the vehicle. (Trying to make Alex hate fast cars as well perhaps.) Not leaving any stone unturned, he bends her over, fucks her ass and then jerks off while Nicole sucks his sack. After the facial is delivered, Nicole does a fantastic job rubbing it all over her face.

The treatment is working, Alex is breaking down. Props to Cramer for some more well written dialog, but you have to watch Kaitlyn and Jonathan to really appreciate just how good both of them are. Morgan puts Alex on display, cured of her wicked ways, for all to see. (Nice Vivid joke thrown in there as well.) To prove how well he has reprogrammed poor Alex, out comes Nicole in a sexy leather getup, strutting her stuff. Her dirty dance sends Alex to her knees with uncontrollable stomach cramps. With her subject down, Nicole Alex to lick her boot before the torment will end.

Released to the streets, Alex finds the world a terribly ironic place. She runs into Dick Nasty, and he remembers what she had done to him. This time, it's Dick who has friends and they descend on the newly free blonde. Kaitlyn looks super sweet in her little skirt outfit, and it makes it even easier for Vince Voyeur and Jay Ashley to have at her. Unable to fight back, Alex decides it better to go willingly. Of course, no one goes willingly better than Kaitlyn, so she still manages to fuck these guys senseless. (A short trip perhaps?) Jay really lays some wood to Kaitlyn, throwing her leg up over her shoulder and plowing her lush fields. Her ass gets a hard slamming as well, and she actually screams back over her shoulder for him to fuck it harder. In the end, Kaitlyn's pretty face gets blasted by a pair of sticky loads. Highlight reel material for sure.

Abused and nearly broken, Alex ends up at the home of another of her victims. Dough is now confined to a wheelchair. He recognizes only as the woman who was experimented on by the government. As he plans his do gooding downstairs, Alex seems to cured. She sings the praises of her returned libido upstairs, sending Dough into fits. (You probably need to see the original to really appreciate this scene.) He uses some tapes to send her right over the edge and out the window.

The plot runs its course, leaving us with a final orgy to close things out. Morgan and Kaitlyn join Isis, Rebecca, Olivia, Vince, Dick and Alex Sanders in the junkyard for some down and dirty sexy. The action moves around way too much for me, but there are plenty of noticeable moments. Kaitlyn's blowjob of Morgan's cock is yet another reminder of just what a hot piece of ass she really was. Vince fucking Olivia until her huge tits nearly knock her silly is pretty fresh as well. Leaving her to Alex, Vince puts Rebecca's head through a car window and enjoys her tight tunnel. Kaitlyn takes a load on her tongue and tits, Olivia's orbs get gooed, Rebecca takes hers in the mouth and we close on the same ominous looking close up that began this film.

If you haven't noticed yet, I am completely impressed by this effort. The scope of this adult film goes beyond just about anything I have ever seen. (Yet it didn't win a major AVN award.) Cramer's script is wonderful, borrowing from Kubrick quite liberally, and he adds a number of his own twists for one of the best adult scripts ever written. Jonathan Morgan, Jon Dough, Dick Nasty and Shelby Stevens all handle the dialog quite nicely, but it is Kaitlyn Ashley who really shines in one of her finest non-sex performances ever. Once she drops the attempt at a British accent, her dialog scenes are nearly as compelling as her sex scenes. The costumes and art direction are also top notch, giving Clockwork a perfect look and feel. What is often missing in big budget features like this is hot sex. That is thankfully not the case her. Though sometimes a bit short, the scenes are all hot. Kaitlyn steals the show, though I would have liked to have seen more of her. Isis Nile, Rebecca Lord, Nicole Lace and Olivia all provide hot moments that include anal and some pretty nice facials. Not only did Nic Cramer not disappoint with porn take off a classic mainstream film, he carved himself a piece of porn history. Clockwork Orgy is, simply put, beautiful, hot, funny, tight and masterful. In a word, it's brilliant.

First of all, don't be fooled by box cover plot
synopses. This video does not have a "gooey
facial" by Dick Nasty on Rebecca Lord. That
scene is abruptly cut-off before the 'money' shot.
"The future of adult film?" Not likely. Just
take a popular, off-the-wall film, and do your
own take on it doesn't make it "the future of
adult film".

The four main women are definitely beautiful and
unique in their own ways (Kaitlyn, Rebecca, Isis,
and Olivia - WOW!). One problem is the sex scenes
lack intensity and originality most of the times.
There are a few scenes which are hot, but overall
this is standard sex fare. On the positive side,
the art production is good. The scenes in the
"bad side of town" look realistic. And, Kaitlyn
doesn't disappoint her fans: she has an anal scene
that features three guys on her.

To elaborate on the first review here, the features
are lacking. One trailer, still photos from the
film (what's the point when you've got the normal
DVD feature of still-frame?), and poorly-written
biographies of the stars. I had to return
my first copy due to heavy pixellation which
caused my player to freeze and stutter. So far,
my replacement copy seems to work fine. Check
yours if you have this disc.

On a side note: In my previous review, "Mission:
Erotica", I mistakenly said, "Mark Davis 3-way".
It should have said, "Jon Dough 3-way".

This 1994 film puts a sexual spin on Clockwork Orange's futuristic tale of society gone wrong and the price of conformity at all costs. Bonus features include chapter stops, a photo gallery, DVD trailers, and enhanced sound. Unfortunately the smoky atmosphere and stark, colorful backgrounds that make the film so visually appealing play havoc with the transfer to DVD: Pixelation often runs rampant, particularly wherever there's smoke, haze, or low-contrast scenery of any sort. This movie deserves better.
