My Girlfriend's Girlfriends 6

"My Girlfriend's Girlfriends 6" is a keeper: no story, barely any preliminaries, but good sex. It isn't flashy, it has no artistic pretensions, it's just girls having sex with girls and enjoying it.

Though it lacks a continuous narrative, "Girlfriends 6" is more than your typical compilation film. With admirable economy, producer/director Al Borda gives his performers a simple, classic framework within which to work, thereby making each scene a kind of mini-movie. For instance, in the second scene, in just a few lines of dialogue, Sky Taylor is established as the lesbian novice; she's only been with one girl before and she didn't cum. Jeannie Rivers offers a more satisfying experience, and so the sex begins. Remarkably, Borda and the girls stay true to the premise, and if they don't exactly pull it off (experienced talent - who are, let's face it, sexual performers first and actresses a distant second - rarely succeed in acting inexperienced), they at least give it a good shot. Jeannie, as befits the situation, starts off slowly, with kissing, footplay, and more kissing, before ever putting tongue to pussy. She clearly takes the lead and allows Sky to cum first. When Sky says Jeannie is much better than her previous lover, we have no trouble believing it. The highlight of the scene has Jeannie using both hands, well lubed, to give Sky six fingers. All that's really missing is a good cumshot from Sky.

Unfortunately, that's hardly surprising. Too often, the girl/girl cumshot is underrated, ignored, or badly handled, yet it's no less important for lacking the jizz of its boy/girl cousins. It's still the natural climax of the scene. And when it's done well - because it's real or because it's a good performance - it's very exciting. True, women don't always cum quite so vividly as men, but if we're talking about reality here, how many men routinely cum on their lovers' faces and in their mouths? It's the illusion that counts.

Dru Berrymore's excitement, in the opening scene with Tara Wild, makes the difference between the merely ordinary and something special. Though the scene begins routinely, by the time Tara dons a strap-on, Dru is into it, exhorting Tara to pull her hair and slap her ass. It concludes with a quality orgasm we can see, hear, and vicariously share. Polish import Envy gives us more of the same in her scene, the third, with Paige Sinclair.

This scene also features a more convincing scenario than the lesbian initiate of the second. Here, blonde Paige Sinclair, with her short girlish hair, tells the darker, more dominating Envy that she will try to play the submissive. Envy's instructions, gentle but insistent, add to the excitement without overwhelming Paige, for whom, after all, this is only an experiment. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the supposed submissive in scenes like this turn dominant once the sex begins. Since Sky says only that she will "try" to play the submissive, such a disappointing negation of the fantasy seems almost preordained, yet it never happens. Envy, thankfully, dons the strap-on and Envy cums the hardest. Even when Paige rides the strap-on during the scene's best segment, she faces away from Envy. Being on top, Paige could easily have assumed dominance at this point, but by facing the camera instead of Envy she retains her submissive role, cumming because her mistress allows it rather than because of her own actions.

The fourth and last scene is the movie's only 3-girl tryst and it is probably the weakest of the whole film; but if it doesn't particularly distinguish itself from other such scenes it is at least as good as most of them so it isn't particularly disappointing, either. And it does a pretty good job of distributing the action (which isn't always the case): Summer Breeze uses a strap-on on Nikita Denise and Chennin Blanc returns the favor by using it on Summer. Chennin gets her own when the other two girls fall upon her with a dildo and tongues.

"Girlfriends 6" can't boast of any unusual Special Features worth the name, but it doesn't need to. It's an effective, exciting, and thoroughly enjoyable all-girl movie.

I personally enjoy seeing a girl get pounded with a strap-on doggy style...and I mean really pounded...so when I saw the scene with Dru Berrymore bracing herself against the punishing onslaught from her strap-on weilding girlfriend, I knew I was onto a winner here!

There is also one scene where two brunettes engage in some mild dominant/submissive roleplaying, which I quite enjoyed.

However, some of the low points are - there is no strap-on/anal action (if you like that sort of thing); there are hand-held toys, which I don't like; and although I'm a big fan of Jeanie Rivers, I thought her scene was lame.

All in all, though, not a bad film.
