Debbie Does Dallas 2

For those raised on a healthy diet of gonzo and wild, hardcore action, the DVD release of the classic Debbie Does Dallas 2 isn't going to raise a lot of eyebrows...to say nothing of other body parts. But for those who yearn for the classic days of porn yesteryear, this is a must-own title for any adult fan's collection. From an impact on the adult industry perspective, nothing will live up to the original Debbie Loves Dallas, but from a sexual standpoint, the 1981 sequel looks and feels much more like a porn movie - although it's still pretty tame by today's standards.

This time around, the movie has little to do with football or cheerleaders, as Debbie (Bambi Woods) has been kicked off the team and is out to visit her aunt at "The Ranch". Little does Debbie know that "The Ranch" is actually a bordello!

Before Debbie makes it to her location, she's harassed by a couple of local cops, and is taken to the police station by the deputy (Ron Hudd) who Debbie to strip down for him in a jail cell. Ron soon has her bend over and is fingering her from behind, followed by a blowjob and then some standing doggy up against the cell's bars.

While Ms. Woods is the obvious main attraction here, I found the appearance of Ashley Welles to be the most sexually appealing. She has two scenes in this movie - both of them with Jamie St. John - and Scene Two is the first time we see her in the film, as we go back and forth between her having sex with Jamie and watching (in another room of the bordello) Long Jean Silver 69ing and giving head to a guy (whose face we never see).

When Bambi arrives at "The Ranch", it isn't long before Lisa Cintrice and Long Jean Silver are soaping her up in a bathtub and shoving a dildo in and out of her pussy. Later on, her aunt shows her the room where women dance for men on the other side of glass booths, and Bambi imagines herself in a lesbian encounter with Lisa Cintrice, as she watches Lisa enter the room and have fun with Daniella.

Ashley Welles' second sex scene may be the best in the entire movie, as she does a role-playing session with Jamie St. John in which he takes control of the action and "" her to give him what he wants sexually.

The most recognizable face in Debbie Does Dallas 2 is that of a young (and thin!) Ron Jeremy, who shows up as a football coach who has come to "The Ranch" because he heard some of his players were there looking for fun. He gets into a sex session with both Bambi and Lisa that begins with Bambi in her cheerleading uniform. Ron has sex with both women during the scene, and the conclusion has "The Hedgehog" spurting a nice load of cum onto Bambi's face.

The film ends with the same coupling that ended the first movie - Bambi getting it on with R. Bolla. This isn't Bambi's best scene in the movie (I preferred her threesome with Ron and Lisa), but we get to see her give some more head, take it missionary and then jerk R. Bolla's cock off onto her stomach.

Debbie Does Dallas 2 was shot on film (for exhibition in adult theaters) in 1978, and while VCA does their best with the transfer, the quality is still not that great. Suffering most is the audio track, which has a noticeable (but fortunately low) hum throughout the picture, and suffers from a few "pops" and drop-outs here and there.

The extras here are the real crime. No commentary track, no featurettes, not even any trailers for other VCA releases - all viewers will get is a slide show...and not a very entertaining one. There's also a chapter selection, plus a page that shows three box covers for other VCA releases (but again, no trailers).

If your videotape copy is still in pretty good shape, there's not really a reason to upgrade to this DVD. However, if you don't own the movie, this is the best version you're going to find available - despite the lack of bonus goodies.
