Jack's Playground 25

For the 25th volume of his Jack's Playground series, director Robby D. has really done things right. For starters, he's managed to dig up some previously unseen footage of both Tera Patrick and Rocki Roads, but more importantly, he's returned Jack's Playground to the fun style it showed in earlier volumes (and abandoned in more recent ones) with text pop-ups on the screen commenting on the action, and funny skits in between the sex scenes.

There seems to be no Jack's Playground titles where at least one performer doesn't get a bit of fun poked at him. This time around it's Tommy Gunn, and poor Tommy may not want to ever sit through this volume due to the mild humiliation he gets here. It all starts out well enough for Tommy, who gets to fuck Randi Wright over at Jack's apartment. But when it comes time for the pop-shot, Tommy just can't produce...and as Jack's Playground 25 continues on to other sex scenes, we occasionally come back to Tommy to see if he's managed to cum yet.

Scene Two is between Sandra Romain and Dale DaBone, and the movie isn't kind to Sandra either - superimposing her face over a flying witch before the scene begins (no porn performer's ego is safe when they sign on for a Jack's Playground movie!). Sandra and Dale's pairing contains a good deal of anal action, and concludes with him jerking into her mouth and onto her chin.

Next up is a deleted Rocki Roads scene that takes place in a barn with John Decker. It's not a spectacular scene by any means, but it may be the only scene with Rocki on DVD that comes in anamorphic widescreen! I'm not sure which of Rocki's movies this footage is taken from, but it's pretty standard action - with missionary and standing doggy, followed by John jerking onto her ass.

Busty blonde Nikki Benz has one of the better Robby D-shot scenes in Jack's Playground 25, taking on Mark Ashley in the house that is used for most of Robby's Teen America movies. (In fact there's a bit of humor here where the announcer thinks that this must be a Teen America movie instead of a Jack's Playground one.)

Remember when Melanie Jagger first got into porn? Am I the only one? Well, just look at the cover of A Group Thing #1 and now look at Melanie in this scene. I'm not saying anything else...just look, darn it! Joey Ray "takes one for the team" in this scene with Melanie that features some anal penetration in the missionary and reverse cowgirl positions. Poor Melanie, it's almost as bad as...

...Watching Tommy Gunn continue to try and squirt his load. The movie's almost over Tommy, and you're still whacking it with no results! At the very least, watching Tommy in Jack's Playground 25 will make any guy out there looking to get into porn think twice before he puts his "manhood" on display in front of the cameras.

Tera's scene is next. It's shot in Budapest with two foreign hunks, and I'm pretty sure this deleted footage is from Forbidden Tales, or at least from the trip Tera took to Hungary to film that movie. Ex-Contract Star or not, there's no denying that Tera's scene here is far and away the best reason to pick up Jack's Playground 25. It begins as a one-on-one in the back of a carriage during the day, but continues as a threesome that takes place in front of a raging fire at night. The only downside is that there's no facial cumshots for Ms. Patrick. The first pop-shot is to her body, while the second is sprayed on her ass.

The final scene is back at the Teen America house between Kelli Tyler and Mark Ashley. There's no anal here, but Kelly's hot enough that it really shouldn't bother most viewers out there. The movie closes out going back to Tommy and Randi - where Tommy is finally able to jerk a wad onto Randi's hand. Wait a minute? We waited all movie and he comes on her hand?! Well, at least Tommy's personal on-camera nightmare is finally over...

Of all the Jack's Playground volumes, this one ranks high as one of my favorites. The Tera Patrick scene is impressive (although it does feel slightly out of place in this type of gonzo movie) and the series has finally returned to the fun and frolic that made it so enjoyable to watch when the first few volumes were released.
