Super Quick #2

The first Super Quick from Kick Ass Productions was a fun spoof of all those television and movie superhero titles we have seen in the mainstream. And like all the sequels of all those TV and movie adaptations, the second time around isn't nearly as much fun.

Super Quick #2 recasts the lead character, giving the starring role to Steve Taylor instead of Brandon Iron this time around. Taylor isn't quite as much fun as Iron in the role of Super Quick, but the recasting doesn't really hurt the movie. What does hurt the film, however, is an evil character named P.T. Bone'em...an evil clown who is the feature bad guy this time around.

Now I don't know about you, but I have never found clowns to be either funny or scary...just boring, and the same holds true with our bad guy in this movie. He spouts his evil plans off like Cesar Romero on a caffeine-fix, and I actually found myself fast-forwarding through his little rants just to avoid a migraine. In the first Super Quick, the bad guy was played by John Strong and was enjoyable to watch...this time the villain is just annoying.

But wait! P.T. Bone'em isn't the only villain out to destroy Super Quick this time around. Another superhero, Captain Justice (played by Lee Stone) is sick and tired of Super Quick getting all the attention, so he makes a deal with P.T. to get rid of our intrepid hero. Lee gets stuck wearing a superhero costume, and the viewer can tell he is less than comfortable in it. In fact, during many scenes you can see Lee trying to restrain himself from bursting into laughter at the ridiculousness of the situation.

Annoying villains aside, what saves Super Quick #2 from failing is the hot sex. The opening scene is a great one between Felony and Steve Taylor in which she literally deep throats our hero until she is choking on his big tool. After providing him with a really wet and really messy blowjob, she takes him in a number of positions (including plenty of anal action) before he finally blows his load down her throat...causing her to choke once again.

Those of you who have seen Kiki Daire in action before should know how she is one of the few actresses in the industry who can appear so cute and innocent, yet get totally raunchy when it comes to sex. She continues that tradition here by getting involved in a wild threesome with Brian Surewood and Dukey Flyswatter and then, later in the movie, taking on Lee Stone's big cock in a blowjob-only sequence.

Whether it's watching the kinky sexual action or just enjoying the look of the superheroes and the (intentionally) cheap special effects, Super Quick #2 is always fun to look at, and for that reason, it's getting a mild recommendation from this reviewer. My advice is to turn the volume down every time you see the evil clown, and then turn it back up during the sex...the movie will be much more enjoyable for you that way.

The video is above average for this title, although the audio isn't quite up to par with the video presentation. The features are also only on the average side, offering four previews, a chapter selection, a slide show, web site information and some bloopers from the filming.
