Synopsis: Why would Sandi Beach star in a movie called Naked Desert. Cause they're both sandy? Cause this is another
offbeat production from Vivid? Probably both. It seems this desert is haunted by some mysterious chick in white who always
seems to appear just when things are getting nasty. She solves the situation by getting nasty herself with the other members of
the cast. Most everything in this flick was shot outdoors so you definitely get the feel of being in the desert. And everyone does
get naked....so we have an appropriate title here, don't we. Naked Desert. Join the excursion.

Commentary: This is a refreshingly sexy little flick from Vivid. The plot is pretty much a waste of about 5 minutes from the
mind of some writer locked up in a room outside Death Valley. But the sex is really quite graphic, very well photographed and
has plenty of those close ups you all love. We get banging into the action immediately as this disc opens. Steven St. Croix
delivers the goods to a very hungry Sandi Beach (while being observed by the lady in white) outside their desert trailer. No
energy here as this scene moves right along to it's climax in quite a hurry. In fact, if you look real close, you can see how
difficult it is for St. Croix to remove his condom before spurting all over the beach. He made it just in time, must be some cash
incentive in his contract!
After catching his breath he decides to take a bit of a walk through the desert and what does he find....the mysterious lady in
white (only this time she's mostly naked) lying by herself on the desert floor. They exchange a few words but due to poor sound
quality I couldn't get what they were saying. No great loss. No sex either, he just ambles back to the trailer. Shucks. His friend
at the trailer decides to take a spin on his motorbike. Off he goes into the desert, off he falls from his bike, off come the
mysterious lady in white's clothes till both of them get off. Sucking and screwing is what finally gets them off. In the desert.
Alone. Except for a few cameramen.
We get some more strange appearances by the lady in white (Anna Malle) before this flick is over. We also get a nice girl
girl scene between the always sexy Kylie Ireland and Sandi Beach. You can almost see Kylie spitting the sand out of her mouth
when they finish. At least I think it's sand. We close out with a nice little orgy number featuring virtually all of the cast in a long,
lazing daisy chain of action (I can't believe I came up with that). Again, like everything else in the movie it was wonderfully
photographed and had nice energy. Oh yeah, they mysterious lady then disappears leaving open the possibility for Naked
Desert 2 - The Return.

From a DVD perspective: This disc had some great features and qualities as well as some that just didn't cut the mustard.
The images were crystal clear, those special places were very well lit and shown in all their splendor. You could almost taste it.
What you couldn't do is hear it as the sound was really poor. The music was okay but when they shifted to dialog it was very
difficult to follow no matter how much you adjusted the volume. This problem has cropped up before and always ruins things a
bit.
The Multiple Angles were used to their full advantage, chapter search worked well and the coming attractions were excellent.
You also get the AVN Award segment as well as a long opening segment from Vivid when the disc first starts up that very
effectively showcases some of their talent.

Intangibles: Strange, the guy on the cover doesn't appear in this movie at all unless I've completely lost it.
