It would not be unfairly critical to state that Randy West's UP AND CUMMERS series can be a mixed bag of goods: for every excellent scene, there is often some less than good moments which seem to go on and on monotonously and endlessly due to the pro-am nature of the genre. Sometimes, it would be with hesitancy and trepidation that whenever I picked up one of his titles just to see a particular favorite newbie in action (like April Flowers in #71, where only half the video is worth watching) knowing that I would have to scan and skip through a bunch of lesser scenes.

However, #41 in the series is an all-around winner of a video, with an eye-catching cover shot of longtime "up and cummer" starlet Taylor Moore. With her golden girl beauty and equally cute ass flashing at us, I knew I couldn't help but pick this one up for my embarrassingly large porn DVD collection. For those who have followed the U&C series religiously, Taylor Moore should be a familiar, pretty face as she has made many memorable appearances courtesy of Randy West.

While you would never, ever mistake the familiarly grungy look of UP AND CUMMERS to be as bright, colorful and as crisp as a VCA release for instance, I have to thank Mr. West and New Machine for making this series less of an eye-sore with each new disc. Someday, however, Randy simply has to invest in better video equipment, or else hire some better technicians during the production process. I know pro-am videos are supposed to look a bit duller than your multi-million dollar Wicked title, but UP AND CUMMERS should put at least some of their profits into a bigger budget.
