A Great Pick For The Ladies Out There...
Perhaps because the story is written by a woman (adult star Stormy), Brad Armstrong's latest feature for Wicked, Suspicious Minds, is not only a great adult film for couples - but it's probably one of the few adult movies out there that single women would really enjoy.
Jessica Drake stars as Jamie, a young woman who comes home from a business trip and suspects that her boyfriend, Michael (played by Brad Armstrong), has been cheating on him. There's the scent of someone else's perfume on the phone and a strange hair on the bed! He has to be cheating on her, damn it!
Jessica's friends don't help matters, either. One of them is a butch lesbian (Sydnee Steele) who thinks all men are pigs, and the other is a sex-hungry slut (Stormy), who wants to nail anything with a pulse. Needless to say, their advice to Jessica isn't very good, but they convince her to start spying on Brad to see if she can get to the truth.
Because the story is so solid, the sex scenes in Suspicious Minds turn out to be pretty good, thanks to the set-up for each of them. We get to watch Stormy in the opening scene as she makes Mark Davis tell her that "She's the Princess!" before he gets to make love to her. Later, we get to watch Jessica explore her lesbian fantasies with Sydnee, and even get to see her cheat on Brad with a cop played by Chris Cannon in a particularly hot coupling. There's also a great appearance by Taylor Rain, as she gets anally pounded in the back of a van by a redneck hippie played by Kurt Lockwood.
In most adult features geared toward couples, it's always the man who is cheating on the woman. Here, albeit by mistake, it's the girl who winds up cheating on the guy - so this is a nice change of pace from normal couples' fare. There's also some genuine laughs as the three girls try to spy on Brad that makes it worthwhile to watch the stuff going on in between each sex scene.
As always, Wicked Pictures have provided a nice number of bonus features on this disc. Included are a 23-minute Making Of segment; interviews with Stormy, Sydnee, Jessica and Taylor; a ton of slide shows to watch; trailers for other Wicked titles; biographies of the cast members; plus at least one hidden Easter Egg entitled "Tight Fit" that has to do with the condom Brad wears in his scene with Jessica!
This one is recommended to the women even more than to the guys. It would be a great introductory movie for ladies who are interested in adult titles, but are looking for something with a story that they'll be able to relate to.
