Briana Banks' Performance Will Haunt You!

By terry dennis
"Haunted" by prolific director Jerome Tanner is another entertaining adult film that showcases his flair for snappy, humorous dialogue and a witty, clever premise, but this time Mr. Tanner has a secret weapon which will result in even better sales. That secret weapon is the amazing Briana Banks. I have seen pictures of Ms. Banks and have heard the wave of hype, but this was my introduction to this lovely and talented superstar, and I was impressed. (The only complaint I had was that she wasn't in every scene because I could easily watch her for two hours straight and I'm sure I'm not alone.)

The first scene jumps right down to business with Jerome Tanner regular, Claudia Atkins, encountering a bleach-blonde male ghost in her bathroom. You only find out later it's a ghost, and the overall potential to explore this theme with special effects and proper make-up, is sadly lost! This is hardly a complaint, because this DVD is packed full of great moments and if you are a follower of Jerome Tanner's movies, then you know he makes "B" quality adult films with emphasis on comedy. His films grow on you when you get over how great they could be instead of just good they are. The sex is well-filmed and orchestrated, with plenty of heat. Claudia and the ghost get busy by the edge of the tub where he probes her anally with two fingers before moving through the motions, and eventually fucking her relentlessly in the ass in every position imaginable. Claudia is fun to watch and she does some of her best work here. She is spirited, enthusiastic and cute as hell, and really gives this feature the proper start up.

Through a silly effect, the ghost dissolves, and leaves Claudia a little message on the mirror before we jump to the next scene. The next scene involves the cast, Dillion Day, Briana Banks, Friday, and Miss Arroyo, sitting around in a circle of candles, preparing to have a séance. Briana explains the house is haunted and the others make jokes. We then jump to Dillion bringing Friday to bed and tucking her in. She is too tired for sex, but after Dillion leaves, a ghostly Evan Stone appears and gives her reason to wake up. They are soon in a sixty-nine position and giving each other proper and thorough oral attention.

A few great scenes follow before Briana Banks' scene, and all of the scenes are good. There is plenty of funny dialogue and some great sight gags. Dillion Day delivers his lines well and is genuinely funny. This is a completely likeable and worthwhile movie and a DVD that could get some repeated viewing, especially for the first scene with Claudia Atkins.

Now, all of that is said before taking the final scene with Briana Banks into consideration. Everything about this movie is good and fine, with director Jerome Tanner turning in another accomplished adult video, but the scene with Briana Banks might make this his best feature for this one scene alone! She is so smoking hot that viewers might watch this scene more than once per sitting! This was my first exposure to her, and I was floored. The other guests desert the haunted house and leave Briana to exorcize it. The next thing we know, Briana is sitting on a chair in the middle of the candles, naked and thrusting a red dildo deep inside of her pussy. She is amazing, sometimes gripping the dildo with two hands and gyrating into it as she thrusts it wildly, writhing on the floor and against the chair. Her scene continues nicely and soon she is joined by a male ghost in a tank top, and the two of them give us a very memorable scene that won't soon fade from my memory. The camera work is especially nice and we are treated to some excellent coverage of Ms. Banks.

The audio and video are great and the documentary is equally entertaining. Briana Banks' one scene makes this a DVD worth picking up, but the rest of it is honestly very good, and is sure to please Tanner's couples fan base and Briana Banks' fans, as well.
