Godmother, The

This is an odd duck of a movie. I am recommending it for a number of reasons. I remember watching this back in what, 1988 when it was first out, and I thought it showed where porn was heading, into a variety of material in one volume. The leading Black female performer of the day, Ebony Ayes, gets a rare un-Black themed movie spotlight. This is one of John Stagliano's early director pieces, I believe it was even before he began the Buttman journey. He attempted to go outside and do set up scenes to the sex. He had a nice on on one interracial pairing, a blonde with a brother. I remember that the blonde had a great body, a nice plump butt that I know caught Stagliano's eye. Perhaps it was Alexa Parks?

Also, one of porn's fleeting starlets that later met a tragic end in real life gets to shine in this one. Her name is Charli Waters, and with all due respect, in the porno context, she had a magical blend of cuteness and slutty sleaze that made her tailor made for porn.

Make no mistake, this is bad acting all the way, but it's a campy snapshot of those times. For a long time, I could depend on getting off on a rainy day to the interracial threesome that Ray Victory has with the skinny, flat chested sexaholic Viper, and the beautifully slutty looking Tanya Foxx. Tanya was one of the first of the really big assed white chicks, and she was fearlessly doing anal, and doing Black guys long before it was the rage. There's a moment when she is lying on the rug, holding her ass cheek open, rocking back and forth as Ray is pumping in and out of her ass... that used to be my "go to" clip when I wanted a quick nut, no matter how many times I had been wanking. Getting real graphic and extended looks at anal was just getting started, and I guess that's an element of what later became known as the "gonzo" genre of porn.

This is a great look at a point when several elements came together that helped shape the direction of porn through the 90s. As we all well know, Stagliano definitely proved to be a in the industry.
