Statues

Statues starts right off with sex! You've got to love that. There is
actually a story to this piece. I'm not sure that I truly grasped it, but
it seems to be about a women, played by Lori Michaels, who imagines these
statues coming to life. Once alive, they spend their time having sex-seems
realistic enough. Problem is, she is the only one who sees them. She loves
to watch them, but only joins in once. This is very disappointing to me. I
won't spoil the end but, it has a nice twist to this fantasy piece.


My favorite sex scene in this movie is an all-girl three-way with Leanni
Lei, Deva Station, and Dee. They play out a fantasy scene that is a cross
between the Three Graces and water nymphs. A soft feminine setting by a
pool side starts this group sex off right. The three starlets do the rest
with lots of licking, but my favorite part was the lovely Leanni Lei upside down
being devoured by the other two 'till climax. My next favorite sex scene
was what started out with Pan (played by Bobby Vitale) and Diana (played by a
busty blonde). They started out with a luscious sex scene only to be joined
by Lori Michaels bringing it up to a three way with some very nice positions.


Overall, the story line was not clear at times and the other sex scenes
were tepid at best, but the cast was full of lookers. The blue screen
image of the library was so bad that I was tempted to fast forward just to
avoid looking at it any longer. Acting overall was okay; definitely don't miss
Bobby Vitale playing Pan. He does a really good job bringing out the
playfulness of the character.
What I did enjoy about this DVD was all the extras they put into it.
Of course, you have the main feature, but you also get about a dozen more
sex scenes to watch from other Vivid features. The slide show was a nice
extra, as well as the meet the Vivid girls area. The multiple camera angles
actually work. The features are all easy to use and explained on screen. It
would be nice to have the slide show pictures from the main feature and a
bio of the cast. I could tell much effort was put into it all the same. My
suggestion is to get this only on DVD format.
