Pussyman 5: Captive Audience

Digital Playground continues their commendable public service in delivering the finest of hardcore with the release of PUSSYMAN 5: CAPTIVE AUDIENCE, one of the best editions of this always-excellent series. Even after four incredible chapters, director David Christopher maintains an erotic freshness and boiling point heat in this fifth volume, starring one of the sexiest ladies in the history of adult, Leena. While multi-part epics like the first three Star Wars and Godfather films are considered to be triple crown successes in mainstream cinema, very few sequels in a popular X-rated title rarely rise above the original. The only exceptions I can think off the top of my head include the first four Dark Bros-directed editions NEW WAVE HOOKERS (alas, number three with Nikki Dial and number four with Juli Ashton and Chasey Lain remain unavailable on DVD as of early 2002), and the three amazing sequels to the original NOTHING TO HIDE film (JUSTINE directed by Paul Thomas, and JUSTINE'S DAUGHTER and CLUB PURGATORY directed by James Avalon).

In actuality, PUSSYMAN 5: CAPTIVE AUDIENCE isn't so much a sequel as it is a natural continuation of David Christopher's work. Like John Stagliano's BUTTMAN movies, and the Seymore Butts persona, Pussyman has become a character well-known to adult movie fans as representing some of the finest in hardcore erotica, with an emphasis, of course, on the female genitalia. The first four in the series were breezy, fun-loving gonzo flicks with hot women (including Summer Knight, Celeste, Debi Diamond and Julia Ann) who knew how to turn the viewer on with just a single devilish grin, and seductive gleam in their eye. However, even at that high level of erotica, the presence of Leena manages to kick the series up an even higher notch.

For those who are not quite familiar with the featured star of PUSSYMAN 5, let me just simply state that Leena is simply amazing. Italian by birth, Leena has an amazing body, which is as toned and toned, leggy and busty as you could ever want. She frequently moans and gasps in a sexy, girlish tone and never gives less than 100% to her performances. Her scene with Steve Drake is brimming with sexual energy, and begins with a long teasing session of her masturbating in a bathtub as the soapy suds cling to her body. After fucking her reverse cowgirl style, in a spooning and in missionary position, Steve unleashes his splooge directly in her mouth as she screams, "Give it to me!" Without batting an eyelash, Leena swallows a tongue full of his liquid and opens her mouth up for more right before he collapses from exhaustion.

As for the remaining scenes, well things get off to a rousing beginning with Summer Knight and Alicia Rio, looking delectable in purple bra and panties as they wear those sexy "pussy clips." Summer laps at Alicia's quim for a little bit, and then the two rub themselves with the box covers of separate PUSSYMAN videos. It's an appropriate tease for what is merely the opening credits, before Leena is introduced masturbating in a limousine. The ride takes her and her merry men to the Pussyman Mansion, where they are treated to a bump and grind show featuring Misty Rain, Lynn LeMay and Rebecca Bardoux. Naturally, there is plenty of pussy-play, as the girls are rubbed, slapped and licked to orgasmic satisfaction. All three don strap-on dildos with realistic looking cocks and fuck each other silly. It's a genuinely rousing (and original) lesbian scene which alone is enough to recommend the disc.

Leena does offer a helping hand to Lacy Rose as they team up with three guys (Alex Sanders, Tony Martino and Gerry Pike) for a mini-orgy in which Leena is deliberately reserved (undoubtedly saving herself for the Steve Drake tryst which follows). She gets her box eaten and fucked for a little while, but then chooses to stand back and watch the action, particularly when Lacy gets it up the ass. This sexy brunette had a short, but notable career in adult before retiring and speaking out against the industry. But her work here, which includes cum facials and anal, proved that she was a worthwhile slut before leaving the business.

The late Kristi Lynn and the energetic Kaitlyn Ashley share a lesbian scene with some tasty tongue kissing and dildo action before Joey Silvera joins in. He gets to screw both girls, and Kristi's ass gets splattered with his splooge as she verbally teases him to cum. Next, Isis Nile drops by to visit David Christopher and producer Will Divide for an intermission of ass and pussy teasing. The movie then jumps to the final scene, featuring Nikki Sinn and Nick East and Jake Williams. The threesome action, filmed in muted colors by a roaring fire, is my favorite of Nikki's career and there isn't a moment where she doesn't have two cocks inside of her simultaneously (especially during the DP shots). I admit that Ms. Sinn isn't one of my all-time favorite performers, but I've always enjoyed seeing her in this series.

Video and audio quality is a noticeable improvement from the original videocassettes. The image is stronger, and you get every bit of detail you could want from all the pussy close-ups. A few viewers might complain that the sex segments go by somewhat quickly; you don't get the prolonged footage of fucking and sucking going on forever like you might find in most gonzo videos. However, that is what gives this series its freshness. None of the scenes are ever padded, and the tease building up to the action keeps up the snappy pace of the movie. The PUSSYMAN series is perhaps the best combination of gonzo and feature video in one package. The extras on this disc are admittedly limited to a slide show and photo gallery of images taken from this, and other editions, of the series. I'm not too hung-up on extra features, although I loved seeing the "alternate" box cover shot of Leena and Kristi hovering over a pussy. I supposed if it had been available, a "behind the scenes" featurette could have been added to the disc, but given the time this was made, I doubt one ever existed.

PUSSYMAN 5 ends with a "to be continued..." tag at the end, with Leena returning for more action in PUSSYMAN 6: HOUSE OF GAMES. It goes without saying that I recommend both discs, if only because of Leena, and because in some ways, PUSSYMAN 6 outdoes its immediate predecessor. But overall, you just can't go wrong with this series.
