While rookie ambition and creativity fueled those earlier releases, Harry Knockwurst's directorial debut looks as if it were developed out of complacency, carelessly traipsing through the cratered minefield of porno clichés.

While it's always a treat to see Nicole Sheridan in action, watching her seduce the pool boy (Voodoo) is bound to elicit a chuckle out of more than a few veteran porn viewers. Better implementation of such edgy music can be found in Laurent Sky or Michael Ninn's productions. The extras are pretty basic too, including a slide show, 3 trailers, and 11 minutes of behind the scenes footage.

Young Blonde Voyeurs gets off to a shaky start and never quite recovers. In fact, the last two scenes are a real let down. Overall, the whole production looks cheap, seemingly shot in one house and its backyard. If Nectar really wants to compete with the masters they'll need to shell out a bit more dough on locations and set design to get that classy appearance they're looking for. But art isn't made through aesthetics alone. Establishing a consistent tempo through editing and music is also important. Despite this disappointing effort, I'm still interested in seeing how Nectar evolves. Let's hope ambition and creativity make a comeback in their future titles.
