Taxi Dancer (VCA)

With a cast that stars Kylie Ireland and features such performers as Sydnee Steele and Briana Banks, you might expect VCA's Taxi Dancer to be a great adult movie. However, thanks the poor script by Raven Touchstone, the only thing worth watching here is some of the sex, and even that isn't much to write home about.

Kylie stars as the "Taxi Dancer", one of a group of women who work at a private club and perform for men. They are not exactly strippers, nor are they hookers, as they give men private dances, but ones in which the guys aren't allowed to kiss or fondle them in any way. Of course, those rules aren't strictly followed...but they come in handy when the women don't want to have sex with the guys.

The movie opens with Kylie's car broken down, and John Decker coming to help her with it. She first thinks that he might be some kind of stalker, but she soon warms up to him (she even gives him her phone number after only talking to him for a few minutes...ahh, if only real life was like porn life!) and the two develop a friendship.

However, Kylie does have her own man back at home, played by Steve Hatcher. Steve is waiting for Kylie in bed and tells her that he has a surprise for her. He whips out the champagne, and then he whips out something else?and he and Kylie go at it in bed. But none of this has to do with the "surprise" Steve has for Kylie. His big news is that he wants to break up with her...nice to tell her after the sex, instead of before (oh, like none of you guys have ever done that!).

As one relationship ends, another one is beginning, as Kylie grows closer to John, who it turns out, is a photographer. Kylie finally admits to John what she does for a living, and John (who already knows what she does) says he doesn't have a problem with it, as long as there is no actual sex involved. The two do have a decent sex scene together, which includes some really hot fingering of Kylie by John as he puts both hands (minus the thumbs) deep into her pussy.

John asks Kylie if it would be okay to photograph some of the girls at the club, and she doesn't have a problem with it. So John winds up taking some pictures of Sydnee Steele and T.J. Hart. Sydnee, for some inexplicable reason, lies to John and suggests that Kylie is having sex with the men at the club. Naturally, this upsets him, and he decides to stop seeing Kylie all together. Kylie is upset enough to decide to go ahead and try some sex with the club's clients, and the movie climaxes with an average three-way with Kylie, Cheyne Collins and Pat Myne.

The moral of this story is...umm, wait a minute...there is no moral! Kylie's character gets the shaft (no pun intended) and winds up degrading herself, Sydnee feels bad for scaring John away, but doesn't apologize or even admit to Kylie what she has done, and the rest of us viewers get treated to a lame story with only so-so sex.

Despite only being an average film, the video and audio quality of this VCA production is top-notch, as always. The bonuses include a slide show, star biographies and a trailer for the Jim Holliday film, Timeless, which also stars Kylie Ireland.

Taxi Dancer is only recommended to Kylie Ireland fans, or fans of one of the other actresses who appear in the film. It's strictly for those viewers who are looking for a quick fix when it comes to their porn, and not for those who are interested in an erotic story to go along with the action.
