Snap Shot

Snap Shot, produced by Paul Thomas and directed by Ren Savant, envelops a murder/mystery and porn into one movie. Maybe with a larger budget, better acting and a script rewrite, the story which seemed too complicated and hard to follow for a porn, could have worked as a mainstream movie on its own. Starring the stunning blonde Dasha, Blair and James Bonn, who plays an aspiring L.A. photographer, Snap Shot takes us on a journey of hot sex and eventually a whirlwind of intrigue and conspiracy.

James Bonn (a Bond fan?) plays Daniel who is introduced in the first scene with his less than content girlfriend, Krista, played by cute redheaded Blair. Blair is one of Daniel's main nude models and poses seductively at first whilst he takes photos of her cavorting on the bed. Suddenly, Krista knocks the camera from confused Daniel's hands and delivers her lines... well, like a pornstar and not an actress. In a thick valley-girl accent, Krista at one point spurts out a poorly delivered line.."Oh lookie, I broke through the looking glass. How are things on the other side, Alice?" To which Daniel replies.. "What?" (Exactly what I was thinking!) Krista expresses the fact that she wants to get married and have a family soon, then kicks Daniel out when he is unsure of his intentions.

Bonn, then takes his keen photographic eye to the streets and spots none other than the luscious blonde, Dasha, in a window dancing and stripping. Bonn becomes fixated with her image and fantasizes about with her. After befriending a cab driver, Mark, Daniel learns that Davia (Dasha) is a prostitute and is warned to stay away from her and not get involved lest there be trouble... We are then taken to a hot sex scene in which Dasha actually squirts while getting fingered, which is pretty interesting to watch.. Multiple angles (3) are introduced in parts of the scene and are pretty well done (angle 3 concentrating on facial reactions, which is different and nice).

Dasha is then featured in a nice girl-girl scene which begins with a little crossdressing and ends with a strap-on and a textured jelly dildo. The highlight of this scene is the 69 action which shows off Dasha's pretty, shaved pussy. This scene ends with slow and sensual french kissing. The girl's pager goes off (I guess she's a cop or something) and leaves Dasha naked and wanting more.

Meanwhile, back at the photo studio, Krista (Blair) gets her freak on with someone who is not Daniel. (Uh oh...) This scene features Blair's unbelievable blowjob ability as she ravages the penis like no other. Daniel walks in right after their orgasm and more bad acting ensues as Krista and Daniel yell at each other and Krista reveals a photo of Davia taken by Daniel. Then, Krista asks Daniel to ask him to marry her while she is standing there naked with cum still on her stomach. What?!

After the predictable crumpling and throwing of the snapshot, Daniel fucks a barfly and then finally gives in to Davia's allure and makes arrangements with Mark to hook up with her. Daniel pays to spend the entire night and ravages Davia up the ass doggie style and creates a beautiful map of Hawaii on her stomach in the end. Unfortunately, Daniel was warned of danger, and Davia is discovered dead by his side in the morning!

After this, the rest of the story is squeezed into the last 30 minutes and only one more sex scene with Daniel and an "FBI agent" is featured. Basically the rest of the story involves Davia's involvement with the Prague mafia and a microchip which, if falls into the wrong hands, will cause artificial intelligence to take over the world, and result in more bad acting. One of the "key scenes" between Daniel and FBI agents is filmed right next to a 5-lane freeway in L.A., making it almost completely indiscernible.

The extras include a strange "Fetish Room". Strange, because the fetishes include "cowgirl," "anal", and "spooning" as fetishes. Hmmm, I guess I do have fetishes after all! There are four previews and a well-done slide show, which spans slowly across the photos in an interesting way. A small 10-second website promo for Vivid is also featured.

As I stated at the beginning of this review, Snap Shot's story is too complicated for a porn. Otherwise, I still recommend Snap Shot for its sex scenes, which are pretty decent and include Dasha a lot.
