Jenna Jameson and Nikki Tyler sizzle!

By Terry Dennis
Wicked Pictures brings us "Virtual Reality Sixty Nine" starring Jenna Jameson, Nikki Tyler and Steven St. Croix. I have always wondered how many people buy Wicked Pictures movies based on the lush cover art, because the photography and design are always beautiful. This is my problem with Wicked Pictures. Sometimes the feature matches the beauty of the cover and the viewer is rewarded with an incredibly erotic experience, but then there are the times when the box is gorgeous and the feature is mediocre and this is the case with "Virtual Reality Sixty Nine" with a couple of exceptions.

The story involves phone company employee and hacker, Sydney (Jenna Jameson) and her friend Duncan (Steven St. Croix) who have found a way to tap into some kind of virtual reality world, a theme that is very popular with current adult filmmakers, but one that is rarely presented creatively.

The story opens with Sydney tapping into a virtual reality world through her ancient and crude looking computer. She happens upon a couple having sex and we are subjected to a pretty standard sex scene involving the Dick Clark of porn, Peter North. Peter North is here and is not really allowed to flaunt the charisma that female viewers love. Peter North is a star and this scene and the ones that follow seem like they came from a separate production. I don't know who the brunette in the scene is, but it doesn't matter because most people would skip this scene anyway, as nothing is presented in a way that is fresh or interesting.

Sydney comes out of the virtual world enthralled and tells her friend Duncan when he comes over. They discuss the potential of this virtual discovery and Duncan tries it out, entering the virtual world himself with two brunettes who I think were Rebecca Lord and China Lee. The girls play prison guards and Duncan a prisoner. They visit him in jail and tear his clothes off and treat him to oral sex. What kind of prison is this? More criminals might turn themselves in if they heard about it. This scene is a little better than the last one but follows the formula closely.

Duncan comes out of virtual world after a cumshot on the girl's breasts and agrees that this virtual reality discovery is a lot of fun. He exits. Later, Sydney is and a man with neon clown make up enters her apartment and starts messing with her computer. This was the part where I thought the movie would get really interesting and weird, but alas the weird clown guy wakes Sydney up to explain that he can protect her from her discovery. This guy is a good actor and the introduction of this character makes you wish that the director had tied him to the story more.

The clown guy leaves we fade to next morning where Duncan returns. They agree to try the virtual thing together and watch as Alex Sanders has sex with a woman who shares his hairdo. This scene, like the first scene, seems to belong to another production and is pretty mediocre. There is something about this scene and the first one that seem cheap and dated even for porn, but it seems inexcusable for a Wicked production. Thankfully the scene ends quickly and we return to Sydney and Duncan who seem to be growing fonder of the virtual world and each other, but will these two computer nerds get it on? Bet on it, but first enjoy the next scene, which is the reason to buy this DVD outside of just being a Jenna fan. The sex in this scene between Jenna and Nikki Tyler is very hot and makes it worth the price of the DVD. So does the scene that follows, but first I will tell you about this one. Jenna enters the virtual world and finds herself on a bed dressed in a leather bondage type costume complete with a spiked collar. Nikki Tyler has her face painted in a similar fashion as the clown guy from the previous scene and dances seductively for Jenna in a white feather boa.

The two of them end up getting it on and share in some very hot oral sex, but what makes the scene even more incredible is the use of a double sided dildo which the girls share. Nikki takes control, fucking Jenna with it before dismounting from it and sucking it while fucking Jenna with it. Fans of Jenna will have to have this DVD for this incredible scene and this and the next scene are so well done it makes me wonder why Wicked didn't just feature Jenna in every scene and make this a top notch production. The scene between Jenna and Nikki is strangely intimate and very well lit. The next scene involves another visit from the clown and a lot of nonsense secret virtual reality conspiracy stuff that has no real significance.

The inevitable last scene is between Jenna and Steven St. Croix in the virtual reality world and is very well done and very sexy. Couples will love this scene if they can make it through the first couple of lackluster ones at the beginning. Steven gives Jenna oral sex from behind while she lies on her stomach and it leads to some pretty convincing and hot sex.

Overall, the story is insignificant but could have been interesting. The final two scenes make the DVD worth picking up, especially for Jenna fans. The DVD quality is exceptional and the film is lit well with appropriate music and audio quality.

Wicked does a great job with special features. I particularly liked the narrative biography for each star and the company info and awards section. There are numerous trailers that are very well done and absolutely entice the viewer to other Wicked pictures, such as "Sex Safari" and "Knockout," which looked even more intriguing than most independent pictures in the last couple of years.
